Wayne has an extensive financial career spanning stockbroking, trading and asset finance in the International and South African markets. He began his career working in the family-owned stockbroking business Rosenberg Arbuthnot & Co.

In 1972 Wayne opened a bond trading division for Menell, Jack Hyman, Rosenberg & Co and ran the gilt trading department dealing in fixed interest securities and government bonds.

Wayne helped form Vis Incorporated Asset Management, which he later merged with his stockbroking business.

He has spent a number of years in private equity before forming the derivative broking business of Baywater Capital Pty Ltd in 2005 where he later became Chairman.

Wayne is an FSCA CAT 1 and 2 License holder and is also an Active Member of the SA Institute of Stockbrokers.
