After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Ian spent 22 years with the Canon Group where he played an integral role in the operations and development of the Financial Services Business with some R1 billion of rental assets under management. He spent 15 years leading the Canon Group as CEO.

Ian spent 3 years as an Executive Director of BCX, managing the Canon assets sold to the group. Ian also started and developed Revfin an asset rental business focussed on technology assets and is still CEO of Revfin.

In 2013, Ian joined Kerry Elsdon and founded Executive Mobility Financial Solutions (Pty) Ltd now known as Executive Mobility.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Unisa and is a qualified chartered accountant. He completed his articles with Coopers and Lybrand.
